For testing purposes, we reinstalled it and then uninstalled it from the system menu, which took just one minute. It took nearly 20 minutes to uninstall a simple program. We did run into an issue with the program uninstaller. The disk cleaner was especially helpful, freeing up almost 2GB of cached system updates, temporary files and error reporting files. Its inclusion of a password manager and VPN put it ahead of the pack, although some of its features are locked behind a large paywall. TotalAV has a nice selection of privacy and security features, but it’s not as robust as some of other feature-packed antiviruses, such as Avira (check out our Avira review).
